Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the correct respecification technique according to experts in dealing with Heywood Case on Structural Equation Modeling using Amos software. As for the limitation of the research, it is limited to the inferential parametric analysis tool Structural Equation Modeling using the Amos software. And limited to the MG strategy (Model Generating) on ??the recommendation of the expert's Hair et all and Joreskog & Sorbom. As well as in the Goodness of Fit test case which results in an unfit model. The research method uses qualitative-descriptive. Explaining that the model respecification technique can be done by eliminating indicators, connecting the error covariance, and can also be a combination of both on the suggestion of Standardized Residuals and Modification Indices.
