Abstract

Augmented Reality Animal Recognition is a learning media for animal recognition for early childhood by utilizing Augmented Reality as a learning method for animal recognition which is expected to be a learning medium and provide a new learning atmosphere for children. In general, young children get bored quickly if the books used are always the same in the learning process. For this reason, new innovations are needed to increase children's interest in the learning process. Augmented Reality can bring unreal forms into the real world. The Augmented Reality mechanism uses two types of signs, namely Marker-based Augmented Reality and Augmented Reality without a Marker. Marker-based Augmented Reality uses a marker to recognize objects, whereas Augmeneted Reality without Marker does not use a marker to recognize objects.
