The Effect of Discipline to Improve Teacher Professionalism at Madrasah Nuurul Falaah Bandung City

This study aims to analyze the discipline factor in improving teacher professionalism. Qualitative methods with an experimental approach were applied in this study, the results of this study are a summary of the researcher's interviews with informants, it was found that the number of teachers could not accommodate the number of students making the teachers often late. The disparity in the level of professionalism of teachers also makes discipline less. The discussion in this study found several points (1) qualified and professional human resources were still lacking. (2) The lack of boosters or improvements such as teacher quality improvement seminars. (3) Discipline of time that is still underestimated. (4) The emergence of a new generation as teachers with minimal experience. (5) Source of funds or income for teachers who are small and still rely on aghnia santri. The efforts made to improve the quality of teachers at Madrasah Nuurul Falaah are as follows: (1) To overcome the quality of teachers by conducting training and education informally through seminars. (2) Source of funds to increase the morale of teachers in teaching.
