Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of leadership, motivation, communication and work environment on employee performance in Badiri District, Central Tapanuli Regency. The problem in the research as outlined in the question is "Is there any influence of leadership, motivation, communication and work environment on employee performance in Badiri District, Central Tapanuli Regency?". The hypothesis proposed in this study is that leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and the work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Test the hypothesis by using the t test (partial). The confidence level used is 95%, so the significant level (?) = 0.05. The research method used is a survey method by taking a census of 40 respondents as a sample. The research sample used is a population study, where the entire research population becomes the research sample. The data analysis technique in this study used a linear regression equation model. The results of this study indicate that the variables of leadership, communication and work environment have a significant effect on employee performance in Badiri District, Central Tapanuli Regency, while motivational variables have no significant effect on employee performance in Badiri District, Central Tapanuli Regency.
