Production Implementation of "Tembang Kenangan" in Banyumas TV

Television programs with nostalgic music themes or "Tembang Kenangan" have become a popular choice among viewers. Many local television stations are trying to present similar programs with the aim of attracting viewers. Banyumas TV, as one of the local television stations in the Banyumas region, is trying to present the "Tembang Kenangan" program as one of its flagship programs. This study aims to reveal the production process of the "Tembang Kenangan" program at Banyumas TV. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with related informants, direct observation, and document analysis. The results show that the production of the "Tembang Kenangan" program at Banyumas TV involves several stages, namely planning, pre-production, production, and post-production. The planning stage includes the selection of themes and singers to be invited, while the pre-production stage includes preparation of shooting locations and technical preparation. The production stage includes the process of shooting and recording sound, while the post-production stage includes the process of editing, sound mixing, and program completion. The production process of the "Tembang Kenangan" program at Banyumas TV faces several challenges, such as time constraints and human resources limitations. However, this television station managed to produce a program that is attractive and liked by viewers. In this regard, the experience and expertise of the production crew, as well as adequate technological support, are key factors in the success of the program production. In conclusion, the production of the "Tembang Kenangan" program at Banyumas TV is a complex process, involving various stages and challenges. However, with adequate experience and expertise, as well as adequate technological support, this television station managed to produce a program that is attractive and liked by viewers. This shows that nostalgic music programs still have the potential to attract viewers, especially among older audiences.
