Effectiveness of Online Learning Management through Moodle-based Learning Management System (LMS)

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of online learning management through a Moodle-based learning management system (LMS). The method used in this study is the ex post facto method and a survey conducted on 275 students who took online learning using Moodle in the period September 2021 to January 2022. Based on the research conducted, it was found that as many as 119 students stated that online learning management was carried out through Moodle was effective. This is because Moodle is considered very easy to use and the learning flow feels neatly organized so that it does not cause confusion for students when they want to do learning. In addition, as many as 68 students stated that Moodle is very effective in terms of online learning management because this platform is able to provide features such as scheduled attendance which ensures students must access learning on time and the restrict access feature which requires students to complete previous activities (tasks) to be able to access activities. (tasks) next. Meanwhile, as many as 76 students still expressed their doubts because in online learning they still had technical problems such as quotas and poor internet networks. The rest stated that Moodle had not
