Abstract

Studying the teachings of Islam for every Muslim is fardhu ain as long as he is still reasonable. Physical limitations such as the visually impaired have the same obligation to study the teachings of Islam. This study uses a qualitative research approach with descriptive analytic methods aimed at knowing the learning of Islamic religious education for the blind at the Indonesian Muslim Blind Association  West Jakarta, to determine the inhibiting and supporting factors and to determine the impact of learning Islamic religious education on religious behavior. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, documentation. While the data analysis technique is through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion making. The results of this study indicate that the learning process of Islamic Religious Education for Blind  includes elements of educators who are colleagues, learning materials include aspects of aqidah, fiqh, morals and reading and memorizing the Braille Qur'an, the learning method used is in the form of lectures, discussions, storytelling and rely heavily on audio media, evaluation of learning in the form of depositing the memorization of the qur'an and the practice of reading the braille qur'an with Voice mail media, financing in the learning process is still self-supporting, facilities and infrastructure using the facilities and infrastructure of the Haqqul mosque Yaqin which is located in Meruya area. Inhibiting factors are economic problems, low public attention in the involvement of religious activities, training and distribution of jobs from the government that has not been maximized and also public facilities that are not friendly. The supporting factors are the availability of the Braille Qur'an to be used in learning to read the Braille Qur'an and its teaching staff, social media and Android mobile phones. The impact on religious behavior is the strengthening of religious understanding and ukhuwwah Islamiyyah
