Abstract

This study aimed to describe the leadership transformational of the principal at  Vocational School Diponegoro 1 East Jakarta. The  research was conducted from February until November 2017. The researchers used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. Source data from this study is the Principal as key Informants and informants supporting vice student, staff administration, and teacher. Based on the results of research that concluded is: (1) the principal’s leadership in giving inspirational motivation in vocational school Diponegoro 1 East Jakarta is the principal giving inspires was attitude, and action in according with the rules so that they can be used as leaders who can inspire teachers, employees, and students. (2) the principal's leadership in giving intellectual stimulation in vocational school Diponegoro 1 East Jakarta is the principal provide a great opportunity to improve the intellectual ability of teachers and employees. Can have a mindset and also easier to understand other members or students
