Abstract

The study "Utilization of Adaptive Learning Technology in English Language Education for the Digital Generation: A Comprehensive Analysis" examines the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based adaptive learning technology in teaching English to the digital generation. A literature study method was primarily employed, involving the collection and analysis of data from journal articles, books, and research reports. The results indicate that adaptive learning technology enhances engagement, motivation, and language progress among Generation Z students, particularly through personalized learning pathways and instructional materials. This research highlights the compatibility of adaptive learning technology with the learning needs of the digital generation, offering an interactive and personalized approach. The technology enables the customization of learning materials and direct feedback, which is crucial for language skill development. Despite its promise, the study also identifies challenges, including the need for technology infrastructure, teacher training, and privacy and ethical issues. Key recommendations include the development of more innovative systems, adequate teacher training, and ongoing research to evaluate long-term effectiveness. The study concludes that adaptive learning technology has significant potential to revolutionize English language teaching for the digital generation, leading to more adaptive and responsive education.
