Use of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of the Technology (UTAUT) II Model to Analyze the Acceptance and Use of the Quizizz Application in Teaching Enterprise System Courses

Abstract

The use of digital-based learning media implemented online is an option during the Covid-19 pandemic. Various digital learning applications and devices and one of them is using the Quizizz application in learning Enterprise System courses.   To determine the level of acceptance and level of use by users of the Quizizz application in learning Enterprise System courses, it is necessary to conduct research and this research uses the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of the Technology (UTAUT) II model. The UTAUT II model was chosen because this model is a refinement of the eight previously existing information technology acceptance testing models.  In this study, the level of acceptance of the Quizizz application by students in learning the Enterprise System course at Mulia University PSDKU Samarinda in the 2021/2022 learning year will be analyzed.  The research method is included in quantitative research and uses a questionnaire as the primary data collection instrument. Testing the level of acceptance of the Quizizz application will use the modified UTAUT II model which is adjusted to the conditions of the student population as the object of research. Obtained as many as 45 samples from 57 populations. Data is processed and analyzed with a structural equation model. The results showed that only the behavioral intention variable had a significant effect on use behavior.
