Joint Actions to Prevent Narcotics: Efforts to Socialize the Dangers and Prevention of Narcotics in the School Environment

Challenges in dealing with the abuse of narcotics, psychotropics, and addictive substances (NAPZA) in modern society lead to critical issues that require serious attention. However, the public's erroneous perceptions regarding drugs often lead to an incorrect understanding. Drugs include more than narcotics, including psychotropics and other addictive substances that are also potentially dangerous for individuals and society. Counseling and outreach about drugs are becoming increasingly important given the ongoing problem of abuse. Despite legal efforts, loopholes still exist, allowing the spread and abuse to continue. Cases of drug abuse by children and adolescents show a threat involving all societal levels. Counseling and outreach have a crucial role in prevention by using communication technology such as the Zoom platform to convey information effectively.
